[Ubuntu Oregon] Salem Ubuntu hour

Hi all, the Salem Ubuntu hour is taking place today from 6 pm to 7pm at
Broadway coffeehouse, 1300 Broadway St NE #100, Salem.
Join us for this years first Linux/ Ubuntu hour to demonstrate, learn, or
just show us your new Linux-based gadget(s) you may have gotten for
Christmas.

I'd be interested to know how to update Linux kernel on Samsung galaxy amp
prime, or should I dare attempt it. The Apps update automatically, however
the kernel is stuck at 7.1.1.  Also of topic interest is the latest news on
Meltdown and Spectre, so join us for some speculative commentary.
