[Ubuntu-us-ok] Introduction

No on the jabber. I do use every other messenger service through pidgin
(formally gaim).  Pick which one you want to use and I am game.  I know
we have been talking about setting up a monthly meeting via skype or
something so we can do voice meetings instead of irc meetings. 

 

I must admit that a friend has tried to pull me back into a lesser evil.
Since I have gotten it to work in ubuntu my evening are filled with the
likes of wow lol.  But if I need to be available I am there, just let me
know.

Do you use jabber? or any other IM? That may also be an alternative to
IRC is to host a chat on a Jabber server.

Just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Trey, I live in
Norman, and have used Ubuntu some, I haven't had a computer to use it on
in sometime, but now I am , impatiently, waiting for the arrival of my
new System76 Darter. I would love to help out locally when I find time,
which has been somewhat of an issue lately, but have been looking for
local Ubuntu/Linux users.
