Hello Anthony,
I'm new to the group and a little unsure as to what benefit I may
offer.
I have zero technical training and experience to add ,but am an ardent
supporter
and user of GNU Linux. I build computers for friends and fix there Windows
machines.
This is generally virus related and tends to be user abuse rather than
hardware failure.
I have used Linux off and on for about five years now and feel confident
using it for all
uses with the exception of computer gaming.
I have only helped one person experience Ubuntu, but I try to persuade as
many as I can. I'm interested in helping others try Ubuntu and Linux and
actually have
repaired and rebuilt computers to donate for this purpose. They are simple
setups
with Xubuntu installed. So my question is do I fit and can I help ?
Sincerely, Paul Fisher
