UbuntuOhio soundblaster live 5.1

I know it's a long shot, but any chance your drivers are hiding in the
linux-restricted-modules package?  One of my Atheros wireless cards
disappeared after a kernel patch until I manually updated the
restricted-modules package...

Just a thought ...
