Jerry,

Normally notices are sent out with more notice. I'm sure future events will
be given more notice. You can see the minutes on the wiki did that event at

I always get notices of upcoming IRC chats the day after they happen.  For
example, on April 21 I received the notice that a chat was upcoming on the
20th.  I suppose it's because I have subscribed to this list via Digest Mode
to cut down on individual emails. Just something to keep in mind.
