A fellow Gnucash user! Who else uses Gnucash? And what are our most useful applications? Sometimes, there are two or three different free, open source apps that do the same job, and that can be confusing for even an experienced user. What if we put togethe best-of lists for different situations (eg family desktop, home office, etc). We could even theoretically offer meta-packages on launchpad...

So far my experience has been good. In fact, peripheral and wireless
network problems that showed up when I upgraded to Feisty have been no
issue at all with Gutsy. I haven't noticed Firefox being any slower on
my system, contrary to some other experiences noted on the list. The
only odd thing is that Gnucash will seem to "hang" (only briefly) when
generating a report, and I've had what seems to be a short "hang" a
couple of time while shutting down.

For what it's worth, I'm running 7.10 as the only OS on a c. 1-year-old
System 76 Gazelle laptop.
