[NYLoCo] Direction Meeting in Binghamton

Brian, Dave, etc.
The Ontario linuxfest was totally awesome. I agree, meeting up with the
rest of the team to pass on the excitement is a good idea.

Zach,
Like Dave said, the idea is to be able to do this in one day, so no need
for a hotel.

Also, no need for a car-rental. There's going to be what, 8 guys from
the city coming up? 2 of them must have cars, everyone else can chip in
on gas and you save a BUNDLE. We were thinking about renting a car to
go to Toronto, and it more than doubled the cost, so we ended up
car-pooling with people's existing cars.

yharrow,
Maybe we can hold it on a Sunday, since it can be a one day excursion;
everyone would be home in time to not be groggy for work on Monday.
Binghamton is 161 miles from Rochester, and 176 from NYC, so less than a
3 hours drive (seeing as you can go 80 most of the way). If we all
leave at 9:00 in the morning, get there by 1:00, have a meeting until 6
or so, and drive back, we will be home by 9:00, and we will have spent 6
hours doing totally awesome stuff.

Everyone,
I've met a bunch of the crew from NYC, you're a fun bunch of guys and I
look forward to seeing you again. If I haven't met you yet, then you
TOTALLY need to attend! If you're from elsewhere in the state like
Syracuse or Albany, then you're probably closer to Binghampton than we
are... you have no excuse. :-p
