I don't know if this may hep but during upgrade and i assume your still running 10.04 LTS it may have uninstalled the opengl package. maybe check to see if it is installed. I have read a couple of post that point to this issue. Maybe<div>
<br></div><div>There has been a couple of post that also suggest a clean install of 12.04 if this was an upgrade from previous versions.</div><div>Also check for mesa packages too. I have had this happen to me but with a nvidia and ati card. Most intel cards get detected correctly. The other issue that I have had is the monitor not getting detected correctly too. It will show up as a generic monitor with limited display modes. I will keep plugging away at this. I hope this helps. I have always installed fresh on my versions of Ubuntu. The only 10.04 that I have left in the house is a file server. I have switched to 12.04 LTS. My Dell m5030 laptop runs great on this release better than 11.10 and all functions work correct. Even unity I have grown to like it. Please don't hold that against me!!!! Have a great day and talk to you soon.<br>
