Thanks, I'll do the 32 bit install and give it a try.  I spent at least half the day trying to get the wireless going, but I didn't make too much progress.  Spent a lot of time reading on various websites, and while playing with the ndiswrapper, I ended up messing something up and having to re-install. I have the Atheros AR5BXB63.  Sorry I'm asking for a lot of help, but if you guys can lead me along, I'd be really grateful to get my wireless going.
