[ubuntu-us-nm] Post Ibex Upgrade 'Places' bug fix

One other thing that seems to croping up is a random CIFS (Samda) issue
that is causing my Dell D820 laptop to lockup.  When it does happen the
caps lock and scroll lock indicators start flashing.
