Today sees the launch of the Cape Town Open Education
Declaration<http://www.capetowndeclaration.org/>which aims to make
learning and teaching materials freely available online,
to improve the quality of education in schools in South Africa and the rest
of the world, leveraging the potential for open collaboration on the Web.
