[Ubuntu-US-NM] how do I make dividers in xhtml expand

I assume you are referring to the issue with the color of the sidebar
changing to dark grey part way down. Just set the background-color for
<body> to the same color as the left sidebar. This worked when I used the
"edit css" option on the webdeveloper toolbar in Firefox.
