Ubuntu-US-NM Seagate enters Flash drive market

The two critical things that the article misses is that solid state drives
consume mush less power (half a watt when accessed and one tenth a watt at
idle) than magnetic drives.   In the mobile computing market solid state
drives are faster, read 64 MB/S, write 45 MB/s compared to magnetic 15 MB/s,
writes at 7 MB/s on average.
