You wrote to the entire Ubuntu NJ LoCo mailing list, but it appears you
were trying to reach Joe directly. Linux does not need to be
defragged, so that shouldn't be a problem for running Ubuntu. However,
if you are setting up a dual boot machine (Vista and Ubuntu) you will
probably have to defrag if you need to create a new partition for
Ubuntu. You could also use Wubi (without partitioning) and use Ubuntu
under the NTFS partition, but I'm not really sold on that myself.<br>
