I have a simple suggestion for you (and maybe you've already thought of this), but make sure you're entering the password as a WEP "passphrase" and not as ASCII or hex - you'll see these options on the drop-down menu. I can't tell you how many time's I've forgotten to change this while entering network keys. You should also check whether your WEP is set up as 64 or 128-bit  in your router configuration, and make sure that matches up. So, just a thought. I want to install it on my Dell Inspiron 6000 Lap Top. Ubuntu runs well from the disk I have received, so far.   I have a ActionTec Verizon modem, with WEP enabled, when I try to connect to the modem it will not accept my WEP password.   I have tried 128bit and 64bit to no avail, I do have another lap top that is wireless and connects to the wireless with no issues.   Any help in this matter any suggestions will be greatly accepted.   Thank You in advance   Angelo Contursi Union, NJ </BODY> </HTML>
