In terms of welcoming strangers, I think "suburban Terror" might be a
little hard to market.

| I inventing clever names, and I decided the LAN party needed a name just

|
| A poll will treat everyone's opinions equally, but it wasn't the number
| of opinions that made me change the party's name -- it was the strength
| of those opinions. If we held a poll on the previous name, it might've
| supported the name and further alienated Christina, Lyz, and anyone who
| hated the name but didn't speak up. I think a poll is a bad idea.
|
| Instead of a poll, I suggest the following: if Lyz and Christina both
| approve of the name, "SubUrban Terror," and nobody else disapproves of
| it, we'll name the LAN party:
|
| SUBURBAN TERROR
| The New Jersey Ubuntu Local Community's
| Summer 2008 Barbecue and LAN Party
