I was just reading a Dutch news site and there is an article about
complaints about Vista at an organization called Consumenten Bond which
is similar to Consumer Reports.
Most complaints are about hard and software that's not functioning under
Vista.

Consumenten zouden Vista alleen moeten aanschaffen als ze zeker weten
dat hun hard- en software daarmee blijft werken, adviseert de bond. Ook
beveelt de organisatie kopers aan om eens naar alternatieven als Apples
Mac OS X of Ubuntu Linux te kijken.

Alternatives
Consumer should only buy Vista if they know for sure their hard and
software will still work, is the advice of the "Consumenten Bond". The
organization also advices buyers to look at alternatives like Apple's
Mac OS x or Ubuntu Linux.
