So many ways to have fun. Ubuntu Server, Fluxbox, Xubuntu, Obuntu, CrunchBang, So far I like using Fluxbox the best. I'm using it from Ubuntu Studio and booting into that. (I use the real-time kernel and experiment with the BFS-BFQ kernel.) Good thing... It's not a whole distro that might be discontinued. Obuntu and Crunchbang look like good ideas that haven't been worked on in a while. Xubuntu ... I don't like xfce for some reason. Looks chunky. Too many included programs. Also tried fvwm by itself. Didn't like it as much as Fluxbox. So, now I have fluxbox running by itself, with wmDrawer showing a nice list of program icons down one side of my screen. With a little fiddling I know I can get wallpaper if I want it, and wireless with wicd. Will try that this weekend.
