1. in person meetings might be nice. not very practical however for me
living 100 miles from Omaha.
2. Very few members seem to use IRC. I question its worth. Maybe a
forum would server as a better way to communicate with more members.
that along with some polls.
3. I do not have any pet projects to work on . but that might help if
we had one.
4. I would like to learn how to package programs . I have however had
a hard time focusing my self on trying to learn.
I feel that we need to get a true gauge of how many members want to do
something. depending on that number try to plan out 2-4 things to do
over the year. planned out in a timeline ... working on project 1
till may... project 2 till October maybe.
idea like setup a booth at 1 fair ... have a computer swap meet.
just thoughts
