ITEC is the closest thing Kansas City gets to an IT convention. The
group that owns ITEC travels the country and holds these events in
mid-size cities. It's a place where area IT and telecom vendors can show
their capabilities to the broad business audience. Generally, you can
get in free to visit the vendors, but you have to pay big buck$ if you
want to go to the seminars and conference vendors. I was just going to
see the vendors and score swag.
