There isn't a lot to get involved with in Minneapolis except going to the meetings.

The ways in which I have been able to contribute has been noting any issues and workarounds to Ubuntu on a blog.

I participated in Ubuntu's weeklong irc classroom a while back and learned how to do bug triage. I don't have access to irc at work and don't have time at home to help.

I try to submit detailed bug reports when I can along with following up with workarounds. A lot of times I can workaround my bug by reading other user suggested workarounds.

I have spent time at https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu trying to help answer user questions. I never got involved but Ubuntu Forums are also very helpful http://ubuntuforums.org/

Let me know if anyone else can think of other ways.

--
Jeff Rasmussen
GPG public key 0x9686C12F
Sent from Minneapolis, MN, United States
