Hey folks
This is a reminder that I will be hosting a release party and
installfest this evening at 5:00 PM. It will be held at the Hack
Factory (address below).
I will have some Ubuntu CDs on hand and will be helping people to
install or upgrade Ubuntu on PCs they bring in. The internet
connection is down right now, but will hopefully be restored in time
for the event. If not, there is a local apt mirror available for
package installation and updates.
There's some snacks and pop available for a small donation, and you
can feel free to bring whatever you want as well. Depending on how
many people show up, I may try to collect some money and order pizza.
Here's the address:
3119 E 26th St
Minneapolis, MN
It's a big commercial building with a parking lot and loading dock in
the front. Come through the big gate and to the yellow door. I'll try
to have a sign visible as well.
Hope to see some people there!
-Steve
