[ubuntu-us-mn] omit xscreensaver on lubuntu lxde vnc?

i've got xscreensaver autolocking my screen when logged in on the console,
but i don't want xscreensaver on my (lubuntu lxde) vnc sessions.  (esp
because it segfaults Xvnc4, tho i don't want it there anyway).  any
suggestion how to tweak that?
