Converting MN Colleges to OSS

My sister works for a local school disctrict and there are rumblings of OOo being used instead of Microsoft for cost saving reasons. This would mean little kids learing to word process on OOo instead of Word which I feel is the best way to break the Microsoft cycle.  I think people are finally starting to wake up!
