Converting MN Colleges to OSS

This is a good idea. This is a big problem I know where I am (Bemidji State) 
where we only got OpenOffice on computers in the CS lab. I think most schools 
are opting for Firefox though more for security reasons though I do think if 
you could convince schools cost wise they really may look at the considering 
OpenOffice or Abiword though another major point would be to show the 
difference it would be to upgrade to Office 2007 as I don't think most 
professors at colleges will be adapting to that any time soon but OpenOffice 
has a very familiar interface to them.
