I'm sorry to send this out to you if you are not interested.  I'm forwarding this to many people on my email list that I've known from the many computer events I've been involved with over the years. Some of you may get multiple emails from duplicate items in the lists I have accumulated.

I'm Gibson Nichols the President of Metro Detroit Linux Group. We are hosting a small meeting that will also have an on-line option.  Since we will have an on-line meeting option I thought many of you will be able to attend over the internet when you have not been able to attend in person before.

Hello Everyone,
   Our October Meeting will be this weekend on Saturday October 8th,
2011 at 12:30p to around 2:30p. The meeting will be in the normal
location at The Gaudior Academy in Inkster.  Gaudior Academy is Located
at 27100 Avondale Avenue Inkster MI 48141.  We will be running a web
conference also for this meeting. It will be on http://bbb.mdlug.org at
the Demo Meeting. 
1) Big Blue Button requires Flash 
2) Go to http://bbb.mdlug.org in your flash enabled web browser 
3) Enter your name in the "Join a Demo Meeting" field 
4) Click on Join


Carl Miller will be talking about how email and mail clients work.  This
will be the first in a series of presentations about email and mail
servers.
