Each approach has it's benefits.  I would be more willing to attend events close to me (Dearborn) but I may attend some events further away at times.
We should also look at some type of web-casts, telepresence or recording . . .

I think time and day should remain consistent. I personally would like
to see them all at the CMPL, but that's because I'm out on the Eastern
fringe, and that's the only site we've ever used that's remotely close
to me. In the interest of fairness (and attracting more people), I am
open to switching up the location. Scope will depend on the interests
of the folks who actually plan on attending, I think, and would be the
most flexible.
