This should perk the interest of many of you, a quote from a recent post
on penguicon's website:

"We have a whole slate of announcements to make today about the tech
track at Penguicon. Ubuntu Linux will be huge at Penguicon this year,
with the attendance of our two Tech Guests of Honor Jono Bacon and
Benjamin Mako Hill. Chris DiBona, Open Source Program Director for
Google and our 2006 Tech Guest, has let us know he'll return in 2008 and
bring Google's open source organizer and geek herder, Leslie Hawthorn.
Tech Nifties will also include Jorge Castro and Kyle Rankin. "

For those of you whom are confused, Jono Bacon is the Community Manager
for Canonical, and Benjamin Mako Hill is the Author of "The Official
Ubuntu Book." Anybody else think it might be easier to get some free
'buntu swag now?
