[0] Don't Buy an Ink Jet. They are Ripoffs.

[1] Always buy a Network Attached Printer

[2] Get PostScript if you can.

[3] Supporting IPP is Good.

[4] Get one with a JetDirect Interface: speaking HP Laser Jet on Port 9100

[5] HP and Brother tend to work

[6] MultiFunction machines may be Problematic.

[7] Many Printers won't mention Linux compatibility on the box. Linux 
doesn't exist, remember?
