printer compatability

Hi all,
For a long time, I could not get my laptop to do the upgrade. Now, finally
it's done. Still working on the printer issue. Now that I have the newer
version of Ubuntu, how do I get it to recognize my printer wirelessly? I
have the printer turned on, but it doesn't display any message saying:
"here are the printers connected". My laptop and printer are both
wireless. I did manage to print by plugging the USB in. But it would be
more convenient if I could use the wireless function. Anyone know how to
fix that? Ubuntu recognizes my printer
as OfficeJet_Pro_7740_series_CN6AO350QY_
