[CALUG] Software Freedom Day Presenters

Exploring cross-platform apps seems like a good idea. When people first
discover FOSS, they invariably begin with apps they can run in their current
operating environment. Showing people that options like OpenOffice.org,
Firefox, Thunderbird, Pidgin, KeePass (I love -- no, *LOVE* -- Keypass)
etc., are available for their platform of choice can go a long way to
proving that FOSS is not just usable, but often superior to the proprietary
alternatives. Hell, if we could convince just a few people that Microsoft
Word isn't the only word processor in the world, I'd consider that a major
success.

As for Amarok on Ubuntu, have any of you used Exaile (the Amarok-inspired
GTK music player)? I've been using it for a while now and I'm thoroughly
impressed, even though Exaile has not yet even made it a 1.0 release.
