I would like to contribute to Ubuntu and I really don't know which 
project to choose.

A possible strategy would be to work with a "mentor" that needs help 
with an existing project.  I work in Bedford and live in Worcester, so a 
few person-to-person meetings in between these two places would be a 
good way to get started.

Any other suggestions/strategies would be greatly appreciated.
