[ubuntu-us-ma] Ubuntu: a path to green(er) computing?

I just wrote a blerb about using Ubuntu to keep machines running
longer in the interest of the environment.  After a re-read it doesn't
quite fit what I was aiming for.

If any of you are interested in pushing Ubuntu for its possible
environmental benefits via computer reuse it is perhaps worth a read.

Do you suppose the marketing team would have use for it?
