Hey Danny,

Another great write up!  I enjoyed the last post for karmic as well.  Keep
up the good work.

As for Lucid, I have been testing it out occasionally in a virtualbox for a
couple of weeks.  I would have been tinkering around with it for longer if I
could have gotten qemu working efficiently(it would hang on install or live
test, even with acceleration layer installed).

When I did get it going, my first impression was wow, they are really
focusing on design.  I thought it looked good.  As for the comparison to
apple, I've never used one and have only seen screen shots a couple of
times.

I had my mum using it also, she liked too.  When I asked her exit a window
she asked for a second 'oh, its over here now?' and that was it.  For me the
moving 'x' to the left was puzzling but, not earth shattering, I understand
for some it might be more serious but, for me where I click the mouse isn't
as serious as say changing up an api or something like that.
