Ubuntu Beta day so far is scheduled for February 27th afternoonish to
eveningish. What does the community need in a beta day? what would be
really fun? the idea I think is to make it both informative/useful and
enjoyable at the same time. So a bunch of us standing around drinking
sodas and chatting won't work. And a full on all day lecture won't do
either. ideas?

We also would like to perhaps get some people directly outside our
little community involved or other people in the tech field. I attend
Bay State Tech and will post an announcement to see if anyone there
would like to attend. People that attend from my school can get credit
hours for it. I would suggest people taking technical classes do the
same. Especially if you are in the programming field as the idea of
doing bug squashing as a component of this has been kicked around.

We also need a location ASAP if we are to generate anything larger then
very small scale interest.

fund raising, food, Ubuntu disks, swag, are all things on the table to
be considered.

Also anyone that would like to help me directly on this project would be
appreciated.
