[ubuntu-us-ma] Beta day: BFS kernel patches

Hey Martin,
BFS can't be compiled as a module, AFAIK. The whole kernel has to be
recompiled. I was thinking that people could install it from a ppa,
and see if they get better performance. Compiling the kernel isn't an
option since it would take so darn long.
I can go over what I know about the commands that I used to package
the kernel. Those that haven't done any packaging, but want to, will
find that interesting. For the specific kernel stuff, I don't really
know much about what I was doing.

In science and in mind, the impossible and the hasn't-happened-yet are
indistinguishable.
