Hey guys,
I was asked to contact the fsf about their plans for Software Freedom
Day. I did, but the they haven't gotten back to me yet, so I'm just
going to post all the info I have. Maybe she is waiting to respond
till she has started planning it? I've no idea.

When I called, I was asked to send an email to membership at fsf.org,
which you can see below. Also, they said they would be using the
website libreplanet.org to plan the event, though, so far that website
only seems to have RMS speaking engagements listed.

So, that's pretty much it. I haven't heard back through that RT
system. I have no reason to keep this private, since other's on the
list seem to have a better sense of how fsf works anyway.

I'm emailing you on behalf of the local Ubuntu users group.  We are
looking for information about your plans for the upcoming Software
Freedom day.  I called and talked to one person at the fsf already,
and he mentioned that you will be trying to use the website
libreplanet.org.  We are happy to use that website.

The main thing we need from you is to know what your plans are,
specifically the time and location.  Also, how would you like the
Ubuntu group to participate as a whole?  do you need any help?  or
should we just participate?
