That's basically it! The person who sponsored the group is not long at MIT.

Martin has the full details, he sent an e-mail out earlier saying the
following:

"Steve Pomeroy was our sponsor at the MIT Media Lab, he allowed us to
book rooms for both our meeting and some of our "Installfests" we had
last year.

But he has just gotten a new job across the road and is no longer in
that privileged position to be able to organise such space. I also get
the feeling that Steve is busy doing his own research activities and so
can't really play as big of a role in the group as he might have wanted.

So, we managed to get emergency space at MIT Media Lab for our last
meeting on Steve's last day. The primary focus of that meeting was
finding new space. Many of the action items are related there for to
that task and thus people who agreed to look stuff up have been
reporting back with their findings.

Hopefully this clears stuff up."
