The idea is not necessarily so bad (though I don't really like it),
but it was this statement that bothered me: "We hope to deliver both
simultaneously, and have discussed this with both Ubuntu and Kubuntu
community members. At the moment, there is some disagreement about the
status of the FD.o specification between GNOME and KDE, and we hope
our efforts will help build a bridge there."

I have trouble believing these "efforts" considering the idea seems to
be going in the opposite direction of KDE, and neither are going with
FD.o and I commented about it.
