Thank you for the reply. I'm amazed at all of the help I've gotten so far - maybe 23 emails :-). Where in MA are you located? Those classes sound interesting actually. I don't have the internet at home so I try to pop in during the day when I can so sorry about the delay. Yes, we could definitely use the Kubuntu CD as well if possible. Anyway, please let me know where your group meets and thank you again very much for your response.

In the Ubuntu Massachusetts LoCo we have Kubuntu CDs, but more 
importantly we offer free lessons on Tuesdays 7pm to 9pm each week 
(except for certain weeks) 

I can take you through any applications or the system it's self. and you 
may find yourself learning some interesting features and ideas.
