What's the best* low cost (best value) *new computer you've seen running
Ubuntu?

If someone needs to buy a new low cost system (and doesn't have access to a
recycled one) what would you recommend?

Some possibilities (excluding monitor cost):

*$99 Category*
TR or TU mini systems from
e-Way<http://www.ewayco.com/51-embedded-systems-100-PC-mini-ITX-low-cost/100-tu-low-cost-pc-thin-client-embedded-system.html>
?

*$199 Category*
Everex gPC2 TC2512 Desktop Computer w/ 1.5GHz VIA C7-D Processor (Walmart
$199 <http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=8304655> or NewEgg,

*$299 Category*
eMachines T3646 -

*Others:*
Maybe Dell has plans? http://techreport.com/discussions.x/14537
Maybe Acer?

Low energy and low power consumption are also of interest.

Thanks for any ideas,
    Brian
