Second would be a monthly meeting with a more formal agenda to shape ideas into plans and share results of our efforts to make our own area a bit more Open to Ubuntu.  I'd love to see this turn into reports of the local area meetings that members have attended or (more likely) organized. I see lots of potentitial in the team already, and I know you wouldn't have joined if you weren't interested in being involved in spreading the word about Ubuntu and alternatives to the mainstream state of computing.
