Great!<br><br>So now we have four members. I would like a "so where are you from" post in the forum as some other groups have done. What do you think? I may also get a map of sorts together somewhere. That could help us in the future to plan activities. Would anyone like to work on a map of the state and where we are?
<br><br>The wiki has some good ideas about things we can do. Something else I ran across is "release parties" when a new version of Ubuntu is ready for the masses. We can look at that as a future task.<br><span class="sg">

Hello,<br><br>I'm writing this as a first email to the team. I'm also curious who is subscribed so please reply.<br><br>Currently the team has just been started up last week. I should have all of the communications means up and running with help from Ubuntu Team members, the Wiki and our current mentor "Vorian" from Ubuntu LoCo Ohio.
<br><br><span style="font-weight: bold;">What is happening this week:</span><br>1. I am in the process of trying to get this team recognized as an "approved team".<br>2. Getting some ideas for our first activities.
<br>3. What Ubuntu could use help with.<br>4. How we can get our local community informed about Ubuntu.<br>4. Getting to know each other, where we live and what we can offer.<br><br>Please feel free to share any ideas you may have. I'll keep you guys updated as things progress.
