Launchpad and Team membership

In order to take an accurate count of who is interested in being actively
involved in the LoCo we have made some changes.

The team membership on launchpad.net (
http://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-louisiana/) has been made Open, this means that
anyone can join the team without waiting for approval.  If you show the
interest and initiative, we want to work with you.

On the other hand, we have also set expiration dates on the membership.
Over the next couple of weeks, those who have signed up on our team page
will be getting emails about their membership expiring, however the email
will also include a link to renewing your membership.  If you want to stay
in the loop and be involved in our efforts to share Ubuntu with our local
communities in Louisiana please renew and get in touch with us.  If not,
we'll keep sporeading the word until you may have more time or interest in
Ubuntu again.

If you have specific reasons that you don't want to participate, or see
things that you feel should be different in our efforts, please speak up!
The Local Community Teams are all about the users and fans who work together
to make our community better.
