I called the Event Coordinator for the Hamfest
(http://www.ares-nela.org/hamfest/index.htm).

He welcomed the idea of us having a booth at the Hamfest and will send
me more information when he gets home this evening.

I was very encouraged by his response, and he mentioned a repeater
system that uses linux as the OS.
