Hi,

I have the dates set for the next meetings and the "Gutsy Gibbon"
release party but not the times just yet. I'm trying to work the times
out where they benefit the most people. I will really need to know who
plans on making it to the party as we get closer to it. We are about 6
weeks away from the party so we have time to plan. Here are the dates.

IRC Meeting Saturday, September 15th (Time TBD)
IRC Meeting Saturday, October 13th (Time TBD)
"Gutsy Gibbon" Release Party, October 20th (Time TBD)

We will possibly have IRC meetings in between the ones scheduled above
depending on what's going on at the time. The party will most likely
be ARO the Baton Rouge area. We have members in Monroe and the N.O.'s
area so something in the middle is best for a first gathering. I live
in the "Lafayette" are which is more "in-the-middle" and could be
another possibility, but I'm willing to drive another hour to help
someone else get there.

The party is (as per the norm) a relaxing social gathering to
celebrate the hard work leading up to the release. There are no
speeches, seminars or Q&A, only fun is allowed. For our team it will
be our first chance to meet each other to put a face behind those
keystrokes. Spouses are more than welcome (even better if they
come!!!).

As this email is tittled RFC (Thanks Rob) I would appreciate your
comments, especially on "where" and "when" for the party. My thoughts
are "late afternoon/early night" at a nice place with food and drink.
Doesn't have to be a restaurant, just someplace comfortable. If any of
you happen to live in or frequent the B.R. area that will be
especially helpful.
