First "Announcement" to Ubuntu LoCo Louisiana!

Great!
So now we have four members. I would like a "so where are you from" post in
the forum as some other groups have done. What do you think? I may also get
a map of sorts together somewhere. That could help us in the future to plan
activities. Would anyone like to work on a map of the state and where we
are?
The wiki has some good ideas about things we can do. Something else I ran
across is "release parties" when a new version of Ubuntu is ready for the
masses. We can look at that as a future task.

Hey Michael,
Glad to see the list is up and running. I have run into another Louisiana
user the last couple of nights on IRC. He is from Monroe. Signs on as
R2D2rogers.
