Resume workshop

On the way back from OLF a few of us started talking about jobs and
resume writing. Nathaniel had some very good recommendations and we felt
that others in the group may be interested in them as well. In todays
economy where companies are laying off workers every other quarter (or
more often) it just seems like a good idea to have a current resume handy.

How many of you would be interested in getting together to clean up your
current resume or if you don't have one write one? We can either do this
as part of a regular IRL or as a meeting all to itself. It would be good
to have a presentation on what hiring managers are looking for when they
are going through a stack of potential candidates. Then we can get
cracking on writing resumes that managers want to read.

Here are a few resources that I have found on the web that talk to
resumes and cover letters.
