Here are the steps to reset the password for your default keyring:
1) Open up a Terminal from the Appications menu:
Applications >> Acessories >> Terminal
2) Type the following line in the terrminal:
rm ~/.gnome2/keyrings/login.keyring
If you are having trouble with the Terminal, try the following method
which uses the Ubuntu file browser instead:
1)Navigate to your Home Folder:
Places >> Home
2) View all hidden files/folders:
Press ctrl-h for "hidden files"
Hidden files and folders start with a "." (e.g. ".gnome2")
3)Locate and delete the current ".keyring" file:
Navigate to .gnome2 (folder) >> keyrings (folder)
4) Delete "login.keyring" (file)
