[ubuntu-us-in] Ubuntu-us-in Digest, Vol 44, Issue 18

Forgive me for any errors, I'm replying from my phone. My best assumption
is that I was hitting the touchpad on my laptop in some manner and causing
it to happen. It usually happened when I was typing so I was given
instructions to install a program called gsynaptics that allows me to turn
on or off the touchpad and buttons. So far it's worked. The program really
does turn off the touchpad and the 2 buttons that act like mouse buttons. I
haven't had the resizing issue since then. But time will only tell if that
was the main cause. Id like to see this addressed in a future update for
ubuntu. I was also given some terminal code to put in to disable the
touchpad but that was only while I had the laptop on. If I turned it off
and back on, it was re-enabled. Then I would have to put that code back in.
I'm still a newb when it comes to using the terminal and knowing how to
control linux. That's pretty much it.
